The Rugby Football League has announced that four countries will host the 2013 Rugby League World Cup which will involve 14 teams.
England, Wales, Ireland and France will be the host nations of a tournament which will consist of two pools of four teams, and two of three.
New Zealand will head a group that includes Papua New Guinea, Samoa and France.
Venues for the the opening ceremony, the semi-finals and the final, as well as the precise fixtures, will be confirmed early next year.
