The Brisbane Roar's record unbeaten streak remains intact but the A-League football champions rued some dreadful finishing after being held to a surprise 1-all draw by the Wellington Phoenix at Suncorp Stadium.
The classy Roar once again dominated their opponents right across the park but could not deliver the killer blow in a tense second half.
Brisbane had a total of 19 shots at goal, including 10 on target, to just three by the Phoenix but had to share the spoils for the second week running after being held to 2-2 by a nine-man Melbourne Victory.
It still meant the home side, now unbeaten for 34 straight matches, moved to within one match of the Australian club record streak (35) set by rugby league's Eastern Suburbs in the 1930s.
The Roar remain top of the A-league table while the Phoenix remain in 9th place second from the bottom.
