Netball's Golden Oldies world festival will head to San Deigo to mark its 30th year.
The 15th biennal festival will be held in the United States in October 2013.
Golden oldies, a New Zealand innovation, caters for those over 35 years old in a range of sports including netball, rugby, cricket and hockey.
Festival Director, Barbara Woods, president of the San Deigo United Netball club says few people realise the game originated in the US in the late 18th century and is now the most popular women's sport in the world, played in over 80 countries.
