6:25 pm on 22 September 2011

The Australia wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin has retired from international Twenty20 cricket to prolong his career in test and one day matches.

Haddin, who's 33, has played 25 matches for Australia in the shortest form of the game, the last against Sri Lanka in Kandy last month.

He will continue to play domestic Twenty20 in Australia and in the lucrative Indian Premier League.
