The Wellington Phoenix owner Terry Serepisos has met with Football Federation Australia representatives in Sydney on Monday regarding the A-League club's ownership.
The Phoenix issued a statement saying both parties are continuing to work toward a positive outcome and there was no definitive deadline to determine the club's future.
Football Federation Australia and Serepisos will continue discussions in the next few days and will make an announcement concerning the ownership of the club in due course.
The FFA hopes a resolution is reached before the A-League starts on October the 8th.
Serepisos has been battling to avoid bankruptcy and last month submitted a plan to the High Court to sell most of his remaining property portfolio.
