Australia draw final Test to win series in Sri Lanka

The Australian cricketers comfortably secured a draw in the third and final Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo to win the series 1-0.

The highlight of the final day was Michael Clarke's 112, and his partnership of 176 with Michael Hussey who made 93.

Australia were dimissed in their second innings for 488, leaving Sri Lanka to bat out the last 17 overs of the match.

Soon after stumps, the Australian coach Tim Neilsen announced his resignation after four-and-a-half years in the job.
