The American golfer JB Holmes, who's been struggling with vertigo-like symptoms, has pulled out of this week's PGA Tour event as he perpares to undergo brain surgery.
The 29-year-old Holmes is scheduled to have the surgery next week and will miss three months on the tour.
Holmes, has been diagnosed with Chiari malformations, which causes balance problems.
Doctors have told Holmes it's a low-risk procedure.
