The National Hockey League is underway with interest heightened by the presence of top players who've been told to return from their clubs in Europe if they want to be eligible for the Black Sticks' Olympic squads.
The squads will be announced the week after the league finishes on August the 14th.
The Black Sticks women's coach Mark Hager says it's the first time in many years all players have been required to return and it's a fantastic opportunity.
