The New Zealand racing driver Scott Dixon has finished second at the latest round of the Indy Car series after an incident filled race in Toronto.
Dixon's Chip-Ganassi team-mate and series leader Dario Franchitti finished first, less than a second ahead of the New Zealander, with Ryan Hunter-Reay in third.
Dixon, who had the fastest car on the track, was disappointed to have finished just short of victory, but was philosophical after the race.
The previous championship leader Will Power now trails Fracnhitti by 55 points heading into the next round in Edmonton after his second DNF in a row while Dixon is third a further 28 points back.
