Tiger Woods, who skipped this month's U.S. Open with leg injuries, remains in doubt for the next major championship, the British Open in just over a fortnight at Sandwich in south-east England.
The winner of 14 major titles injured his left knee and achilles tendon during the Masters in April, and hasn't played since pulling out of the Players' Championship seven weeks ago after only nine holes.
