The newly crowned US Open champion Rory McIlroy has been enjoying the praise of his golfing peers following his record breaking victory at the Congressional Country Club.
The all-time leading major winner Jack Nicklaus says McIlroy will have a great career, while England's world number one Luke Donald says he probably has the most talent he's ever seen from a golfer.
At the age of 22 the Northern Irishman clinched his first major title by an astonishing eight shots, raising comparisons with the record 15-shot margin achieved by Tiger Woods at the same event 11 years ago.
McIlroy says he'd relish the chance to go head to head with the former world number one.
And on the back of his US Open victory McIlroy has climbed to fourth in the world rankings, meaning European players occupy the top four spots for the first time in nearly 20 years.
