The American cyclist Levi Leipheimer has won the seventh stage of the Tour of California, while fellow American Chris Horner has the overall title within his grasp.
Leipheimer, a three-time Tour of California champion, began the penultimate stage in second place and still trails his RadioShack team mate Horner by 38 seconds after winning his first career road stage in the race.
Tomorrow's final stage is a 132km ride from Santa Clarita to Thousand Oaks.
