The lawyer for seven times Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong has dismissed the latest drug taking allegations as motivated by greed.
The Olympic cycling champion Tyler Hamilton, who was allowed to keep his Athens gold medal despite failing a doping test, has confessed to cheating and accused other top cyclists, including Lance Armstrong, of doing the same.
In a CBS television interview to be aired in the United States on Monday, Hamilton, after years of denials has finally admitted using performance-enhancing drugs, including EPO, and insists he's not alone.
He says he witnessed his former team mate Armstrong inject himself with the blood-booster ahead of the 1999 Tour de France, which Armstrong won.
But Arrmstrong's lawyer, Mark Fabiani, says Hamilton is simply trying to make money by writing a book and that his story has completely changed simply to get himself on television and increase his chances with publishers.
Fabiani says Armstrong, who's never tested positive, is the most drug tested athlete in the history of sport.
