The Silver Ferns and Southern Steel defender Leanna de Bruin has jointly won the most valuable player award for the trans-Tasman netball competition, along with Queensland Firebirds and Australia shooter Natalie Medhurst.
De Bruin and Medhurst each scored 18 votes, with Romelda Aiken, Caitlin Bassett and Natalie von Bertouch all tied at 16 points.
It's the second consecutive year in which a New Zealand player has won the award, with de Bruin's Steel team-mate Liana Leota winning last year's MVP award.
