The New Zealand netball sides, the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic and the Northern Mystics, could fill second and third places in the trans Tasman netball competition, if they can score wins over their Australian opponents tonight.
The Magic are currently second to the unbeaten Queensland Firebirds in the competition, equal on points with the New South Wales Swifts and the Northern Mystics, but ahead on goal difference.
Although the Magic and Mystics have two games in hand over the Swifts.
The Magic host the fifth placed Melbourne Vixens tonight in Hamilton, with the Magic coming off their first loss of the season last round, beaten by just one goal by the Mystics.
The Mystics are away to the defending champions the Adelaide Thunderbirds who're struggling in seventh spot having won just two of their six games.
The teams boast the two most accurate shooters in the competition, with the Mystics Cathrine Latu shooting at 91 percent and Adelaide's Carla Borrego at 89 and a half percent.
