The future of the North Queensland Fury in football's A-League is likely to be known today.
Representatives from the Australian national body, the League and the club will meet in Townsville today.
The Fury have been in financial problems for a couple of years and there is speculation that their license will be taken from them.
The FFA has been in charge of Fury since the club teetered on the brink of collapse under former owner Don Matheson in April last year, setting management a series of ever-changing goals to extend the club's life.
North Queensland finished bottom of the A-League this season.
