Yani Tseng is women's golf's new world number one after completing the second leg of an Australian double by winning the ANZ Ladies Masters on the Gold Coast on Sunday.

Following up her seven-shot victory in defence of the Women's Australian Open title last week, the 22-year-old from Taiwan scored a four-shot Masters victory over fast-finishing Australian Nikki Campbell and American Stacy Lewis on the Royal Pines course.

It ensured she will take over the top world ranking from Korean rival Jiyai Shin on Monday.

New Zealand schoolgirl Cecilia Cho (69-67-68-67) finished leading amateur on 17 under, highlighting her tremendous potential.
