A bleary-eyed Novak Djokovic has fronted tennis media following his second Australian Open win.

After partying into the wee hours the champion showed off his trophy and declared he's now aiming to challenge Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer to become the best player in the world.

The Serbian world number three beat Britain's Andy Murray in straight sets in the final in Melbourne on Sunday and Djokovic believes there's now healthy competition at the top of the men's game.
