The Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq says his team won't be distracted by the anti corruption hearing that could impose life bans on three of his teamates, going into today's first Test against New Zealand in Hamilton.

The International Cricket Council have begun a hearing in Doha against former Test captain Salman Butt and pace bowlers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir over spot fixing allegations in England last year.

Misbah Ul-Haq says the side's focused on the first Test and not has had nothing to do with what's happening on Doha nor is it dwelling on what's happened in the past year.

Meanwhile New Zealand captain Dan Vettori concedes after their recent drawn series with South Africa, Pakistan's an enigmatic side.
