Kangaroos want a dry game

12:16 pm on 1 November 2010

The Australian rugby league captain cameron Smith is hoping for some dry weather during the Four Nations tournament so they can show their true potential.

The Australians booked their place in the final against New Zealand after scoring a 34-14 victory over England in Melbourne last night.

The Kangaroos ran in six tries to two against an England side which made far too many mistakes.

Three of Australia's four-pointers came directly from errors, however Smith feels his side wasn't much better.

While the November 13 final could produce a thrilling end to the tournament, Australia's win set up an anti-climactic end to the preliminaries.

The Kangaroos meet the Kiwis in Auckland on Saturday in a match with little significance.

England, too, have nothing but pride to play for next weekend in the double header at Eden Park against Papua New Guinea.
