Tendulkar Player of the Year

The great Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar has won the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy as the International Cricket of the year, and his team-mate Virender Sehwag was named Test Cricketer of the Year at the annual ICC awards.

Tendulkar also scooped inaugural People's Choice award and featured in both the test and one-day international teams of the year.

South African batsman AB de Villiers won the one-day Player of the Year award, while the Black Caps' Brendon McCullum won the Twenty20 award.

New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori was named in the World One Day International Team of the Year.
