Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has swung the axe and named new-look side for the second test against the All Blacks in Wellington on Saturday. Jasper Wiese returns at number eight after returning from a four match suspension for a headbutt against Italy in July.

Elsewhere, last weekend's captain Jesse Kriel has been dropped completely as part of seven changes to the team that lost 24-17 to the All Blacks on Saturday night at Eden Park.

Cobus Reinach and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu pair up in the inside backs, Damian Willemse and Canan Moodie in the midfield, Ethan Hooker and Cheslin Kolbe on the wings, and Aphelele Fassi at fullback, in a team that will be led by regular captain Siya Kolisi.

The only change in the pack was at lock, where Lood de Jager will pack down next to Ruan Nortje, while Erasmus stuck with the same front row of props Ox Nche and Thomas du Toit, and hooker Malcolm Marx.
