His English Premier League club AFC Bournemouth have confirmed that Paulsen has completed a season-long loan move to Polish outfit Lechia Gdansk for the 2025/26 campaign.

The 23-year-old New Zealand international joined the Cherries from the Phoenix in 2024, before heading on loan to fellow A-League outfit, Auckland FC.

Paulsen's impressed throughout the 2024/25 A-League season and played a crucial role in Auckland FC's run to the Premiership.

They were beaten by Melbourne Victory in the Finals Series.
