Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes missed a first half penalty as his side drew 1-1 with Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Emile Smith Rowe equalised for the hosts with his first touch in the 73rd minute to cancel out an own goal.

United scored from a corner in the 58th minute when Leny Yoro's header was deflected into the net off Rodrigo Muniz's back.

Fulham are 13th with two points while United are 16th with one point from two games.

Everton kicked off the Hill Dickinson Stadium era with an emphatic 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Everton are eighth on the table with three points and Brighton 18th with one point.

Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 at Selhurst Park.

Forest are fourth with four points and Palace 14th with two points.

Arsenal and Spurs top the table with two wins.

Newcastle play Liverpool on Monday.
