Three drivers who finished in the top 12 of Monday's Indianapolis 500 have been relegated to the back of the field.
The Andretti cars of Marcus Ericsson, who finished second and Kyle Kirkwood, who finished sixth and Prema Racing's Callum Ilott, who was 12th, all failed post-race inspections.
Each entry was fined $166,000, while each team manager was suspended for one race.
They also lost their prize money.
Last week Roger Penske fired three of his top executives at Team Penske after two of their cars were found to be illegal ahead of the Indy 500.
The cars of Josef Newgarden and Will Power were handed grid penalties.
The third Team Penske car of New Zealander Scott McLaughlin was able to start 10th on the grid.
Mexican Alex Palou won Monday's race.
McLaughlin crashed during warmup while the other two New Zealanders in the field, Marcus Armstrong and Scott Dixon, finished well down the field.
Following the latest penalties, Armstrong officially finished 18th and Dixon 20th.
