Pakistan take first day honours in third test at the Oval

Pakistan took first day honours in the third cricket test against England at the Oval in London, dismissing the home side by 233 and reaching 48 for 1 in reply.

Pakistan's new left arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz delecreated his debut with the scalps of four specialist batsmen, and the home side was reduced to 94 for 7 before wicketkeeper Matt Prior and Stuart Broad set about a recovery.

Prior was the not out batsman on 84 and Broad made 48.

England lead the four test series 2-nil.
