New Zealand cyclist Bryony Botha has won bronze in the individual pursuit at the World Track Championships in Glasgow.
Botha came from two seconds behind to beat Neah Evans of Great Britain in the ride-off for third.
Botha, who won a silver medal in the discipline last year, was third fastest in qualifying, only 0.2s off making the gold medal final.
"I was initially a bit gutted with the first ride but when I look back on it, I actually executed the ride quite well," she said. "On reflection I am quite happy with it.
"The medal ride was a bit of a waiting game after she went out hard. I knew I would be able to pull it back by the end because is my strong point is the last part of the race.
"I feel happy with that and hopefully it can inspire the other members of the team to do the same and really leave it all out there on the track."
Para cyclist Nicole Murray won a bronze medal in the 500m time trial.
The men's pursuit team will meet Italy in the semi-finals of their event on Friday night.
They were second fastest in qualifying behind Denmark.
The women's sprint team broke the New Zealand record by nearly half a second to qualify fifth fastest, and broke that time again in the first round where they were edged by the Netherlands.
They finished fifth overall which is a massive jump in the rankings.
Meanwhile New Zealand's Erice van Leuven was fastest qualifier in the junior women's Mountain Bike Downhill.
Compatriot Poppy Lane was third fastest and New Zealand national champion Sacha Earnest 10th fastest.
