Nuggets just one win away from NBA history

The Denver Nuggets are just one win away from a first ever NBA title after beating the Miami Heat 108-95 in game four of the finals today.

The Nuggets lost star Nikola Jokić after he rolled his ankle near the end of the first quarter but he returned to help seal the game four win.

The Nuggets led 86-73 heading into the final quarter and despite Miami closing the gap to eight, the Nuggets held on to go one step closer to making franchise history.

Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray says their were contributions across the court.

"Today was a team effort i can't single anybody out, we have one more to go."

The Nuggets have taken a 3-1 lead with game five on Tuesday.

Aaron Gordon set a career playoff high with 27 points while Jokic recorded 23 points and 12 rebounds and Bruce Brown scored 11 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter as the Nuggets took a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Murray registered 15 points and 12 assists and Michael Porter Jr. added 11 points for Denver.

The Nuggets shot 49.4 percent from the field, including 14 of 28 from 3-point range.

Gordon made 11 of 15 shots and added seven rebounds and six assists, while Brown was shot 8-for-11.
