The former Kiwis, Queensland and Manly coach Graham Lowe has welcomed Ricky Stuart's decision to stand down as Kangaroos coach.
Lowe had earlier attacked Stuart's outburst at referee Ashley Klein and match officials director Stuart Cummings after the Rugby League World Cup loss to New Zealand.
Now he says people should move on as he's sure Stuart would understand his reaction to the loss was an overreaction in every sense.
He says resigning wouldn't have been easy but it was the right thing to do.
