Demoralised they maybe after their two nil drubbing at the hands of Australia, but West Indies coach John Dyson believes the New Zealand cricketers will be breathing an almighty sigh of relief the tour's over.

The Black Caps now have a few days off before having to regroup to play the West Indies in two tests - the first of which starts in Dunedin on Thursday week.

The series loss to Australia means New Zealand have dropped to eighth on the world rankings, one below the West Indies and Dyson says the Black Caps will doubt be looking forward to returning to local conditions.

He says New Zealand are always difficult opponents at home.
