New Zealand's most decorated Paralympian, swimmer Dame Sophie Pascoe, has been officially invested in Christchurch.
Dame Sophie, an 11 times Paralympic gold medallist was made a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to swimming in the New Year's honours list.
She has represented New Zealand at four Paralympic Games and two Commonwealth Games and is the youngest New Zealander to be awarded the title.
