The home side thrashed an over-matched Japan side 95-12 at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday.

They ran in 15 tries in total, with Woodman producing an impressive effort to bag almost half of them.

Back in the Black Ferns 15s side for the World Cup after claiming silver at the recent Sevens World Cup in South Africa, the star winger showed pace and power are assets regardless of format.

It wasn't quite her best effort in a test match, though, falling one short of the eight she ran in against Hong Kong at the 2017 World Cup.

The Black Ferns now begin their final preparations for this year's World Cup in Aotearoa.

Their opening match against Australia was set for October 8, also at Eden Park.
