The Irish jockey John Egan has been fined $9000 for describing Racing Victoria vets as "tin pot Hitlers".
Egan pleaded guilty to a charge of bringing racing into disrepute with his comments made in a television interview at the weekend.
Egan is free to ride Yellowstone in tomorrow's Melbourne Cup should the horse run.
