Marlborough clubs, which have threatened to pull out of the amalgamaton, have given interim support for the business plan, but will make a final decision next week.
Tasman's budget for next season is $600,000 short.
However, the chairman Nick Patterson believes enough money can be raised to enable Tasman to remain in the competition.
