Fresh from setting a new world record at the Berlin Marathon, Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie has ruled out the likelihood of anybody running the event in under two hours any time soon.
In the German capital the 35-year-old broke his own world record and became the first man to run the marathon in under two hours and four minutes.
Gebrselassie says he doesn't expect anybody to run a sub-two hour marathon in the next 20 years while he can maybe get down to two hours three minutes.
The Ethiopian will next be in action in a 15km race in Melbourne on November 30.
