Symonds says he wants to return to Australian cricket fold

The Outcast Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds has declared he wants to resume his international career.

But how soon that will be will depend on the allrounder's progress after he returned to the Queensland Bulls' training in Brisbane today following his "gone fishing" saga in Darwin earlier this month which halted his career.

Symonds hasn't spoken since being kicked out of the Australian camp which recently played a one-day series against Bangladesh in Darwin.

He's also apologised to his family, his teammates and cricket fans for his behaviour in recent months which has led to criticism from teammates including Michael Clarke and former champion spinner Shane Warne who accused him of being disrespectful to his teammates.
