Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper has run a front page story claiming that Broncos stars Karmichael Hunt, Darius Boyd and Sam Thaiday were the players interviewed by police over an alleged sexual assault in a Brisbane nightclub toilet.
The National Rugby League club's chief executive Bruno Cullen confirmed police interviewed some of their players in relation to the alleged sexual assault on Saturday night, as bookmakers across the country froze NRL grand final betting and shut down all betting on Brisbane's clash with Melbourne on Saturday night.
