Taranaki have beaten Manawatu 14-3 in their NPC rugby match in New Plymouth.
The homeside scored two tries late in the first half and led 14-nil at the break.
Meanwhile, both teams could improve their place on the table where they are lying 11th and 12th respectively with winnable games in the final three rounds. Taranaki is away to Otago next weekend and Manawatu visiting Counties-Manukau.
