After winning the Slopestyle yesterday, Sadowski-Synnott's this morning added the Big Air title, to ensure she could not be in better form ahead of the Winter Olympics.

She achieved a career-first with her winning run, landing a backside twelve-sixty trick for the first time in competition.

The run pushed her to the top of the standings, and in doing so, she beat 18-time X-Games gold medallist and double Olympic champion Jamie Anderson into second place.

She's not sure why she is hitting her straps at the moment, but said she is super-happy.

"I'm just stoked to be out here snowboarding, and competing with all the girls, everyone's pushing everyone ... it's pretty sick," an excited Sadowski-Synnott said.

"Jamie sending it on her last hit for the cab 12 was so sick, and everyone out her has been sending it, which really pushes me, and everyone's going insane," she said.

Sadowski-Synnott's success could not be better timed, with the Winter Olympics just around the corner.

New Zealand's never won a gold medal at a Winter Games.
