There have been home wins to Wellington and Otago in round three of the provincial rugby championship.
Wellington beat Counties Manukau 64-7 after leading 38-0 at halftime with the winger Hosea Gear scoring three of the Lions' nine tries.
And Otago defeated Northland 23-18 in Dunedin, the relegated visitors getting a bonus point for not losing by more than seven points. It was 10-10 at half-time.
