The former All Blacks and Hurricanes flanker Jerry Collins has come out in support of the Canterbury Bulldogs league star Sonny Bill Williams, who's turned his back on the National Rugby League to play for the French rugby club Toulon.
Williams' walkout resulted in an appeal from the NRL boss David Gallop to the International Rugby Board to block the move, which has been rejected.
Collins, who's on a three-year contract at Toulon, says the important thing for the club is to make Williams feel at home.
Williams is believed to gone to ground in London after hitting an immigration hurdle because he was travelling on his Samoan passport and needed a visa to enter France.
