Curbing the shooting prowess of New South Wales Swifts captain Catherine Cox has preoccupied the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic ahead of tonight's trans Tasman netball final in Sydney.
The Swifts have won their last nine games after beating the Magic by one goal in Hamilton two weeks ago to advance directly to the final.
Silver Fern and player of the tournament Casey Williams says she looking forward to renewing their rivalry and realises where things went wrong last time.
She says she gave Cox too much time on the ball and needs to shut down her space around the goal circle.
Williams says by shutting Cox down they can also then dictate the pace of the game themselves as Cox tends to set the tone for the Swifts.
