Latest - Three Australian rugby players will not be considered for selection in Saturday's opening Bledisloe Cup Test match after a breach of team protocol.
The group had dinner and drinks at the team hotel last Saturday night after a full training week, prior to a training free day. Three players breached team protocols by continuing to drink alcohol well beyond an agreed time.
As such, Marika Koroibete, Pone Fa'amausili and Isi Naisarani will not be considered for selection.
There was no illegal behaviour, no damage and no complaints made. No further investigation will take place, or any further action.
Wallabies coach Dave Rennie said: "We are building a culture of working hard for each other and being accountable for our actions."
"On this occasion, these three players haven't lived up to that and we've taken a very clear stance.
"Ultimately these three men have paid a big price for their decisions but that's the standard we expect of each other."
Elaine Thompson-Herah completes sprint double
Elaine Thompson-Herah completed a second successive sprint double, Karsten Warholm won the 400m hurdles with an astonishing world record and American teenager Mu Athing crushed the 800 metres on an incredible day of Olympic athletics on Tuesday.
Throw in a last-leap long jump triumph for Malaika Mihambo, a near pole vault world record for Mondo Duplantis, a third straight hammer gold for Anita Wlodarczyk and scintillating sprinting in the men's 200m semis, and it all added up to a sparkling showcase for the Games' number one sport.
Jamaican Thompson-Herah was in total control of the 200m final, roaring home in a 21.53 seconds, the second fastest time in history, to follow up her 100m triumph having also won both events in 2016.
"It feels amazing to win two golds again. I have had a rough week. I haven't slept after the 100m final," she told reporters.
"Honestly, I am so tired, my legs just need some rest. I've done so many races in the last few days, but I am very grateful."

Spain to face Brazil for men's football gold
Marco Asensio struck in an extra-time winner as Spain ended Japan's hopes of Olympic gold in men's football with a 1-0 (aet) victory, setting up a clash with Brazil in Saturday's final.
Defending champions Brazil also had to struggle to make the final, beating Mexico 4-1 on penalties after the game ended goalless after extra-time.
Spain are looking to repeat their gold medal success from the Barcelona Games in 1992 but will have to beat the Rio winners from five years ago.
"They are a quality side, we know that and we know that if we are going to win the gold medal we are going to have to play the best teams here," Spain defender Eric Garcia said.
"Playing the final of the Olympics is a dream," Brazil coach Andre Jardine said.
"The film I also saw tonight was the film of life... Everything we've gone through. Although we didn't win in the 90 minutes, we took more risks," he added.

Olympic semifinalists found in men's basketball
Kevin Durant scored 29 points to lead Team USA to a decisive 95-81 victory over Spain in Olympic men's basketball, earning a ticket to the semi-finals.
The final four are now set. The United States will face Australia on Thursday. France, the team that humbled Team USA earlier in the tournament, will take on Slovenia, making an impressive Olympic debut.
The U.S. were victorious despite a valiant 38-point effort from Spain's Ricky Rubio. Spain had a 10-point lead late in the second quarter, when the Americans came roaring back.
Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic scored 20 points and handed out 11 assists to lead Slovenia to a 94-70 rout of Germany. Doncic has led all players in the tournament in scoring and is second in rebounds only to his teammate Mike Tobey.
France's Rudy Gobert executed a pirouette dunk in the final seconds against Italy, an exclamation point in his team's 84-75 victory. Italy gamely fought back to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, but France's superior size and rebounding kept them in control.
Australia trounced Argentina 97-59, running up the score in the fourth quarter.

Sinckler cleared of biting
British & Irish Lions prop Kyle Sinckler has been cleared of biting a South African opponent in the second test and will be on the bench for this weekend's decisive third in Cape Town.
After a lengthy hearing by video conference, World Rugby dismissed the citing for the act of foul play that Sinckler was alleged to have committed in the 64th minute of the match, which the Springboks won 27-9.
Media reported that the prop was accused of biting second row Franco Mostert's arm during a ruck.
"The independent Disciplinary Committee ...considered all the available evidence, including multiple broadcast angles, submissions from the player and his representative and expert witness testimony.
"The player denied that he had committed an act of foul play worthy of a red card. Having reviewed all the evidence, the committee deemed that on the balance of probabilities, it could not be satisfied that the player committed an act of foul play."
Sinckler is among the replacements named by Lions coach Warren Gatland for Sunday morning's test.

Australian cricketers upset by Bangladesh
Bangladesh stunned Australia with a spirited bowling performance to secure a 23-run win in the first Twenty20 international in Dhaka, claiming their maiden T20 victory over the visitors in the process.
Chasing a paltry 132, Australia were never able to recover after losing three wickets in the first 13 balls, eventually getting bowled out for 108 in 20 overs.
All-rounder Mitchell Marsh tried his best to rally his team with a run-a-ball 45 but was undone by left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed, who finished with impressive figures of 4-19.
"The bowlers did a terrific job. 130 was chaseable. You lose 3-10, you need to rebuild which Mitch Marsh and I tried to do, but it didn't work out. You need to find a way to score runs on these wickets," said stand-in skipper Matthew Wade.
Earlier, Bangladesh never got going after being put into bat and stuttered their way to 131-7, with Shakib Al Hasan top scoring with 36 off 33 balls and opener Mohammad Naim chipping in with 30 off 29.
The second game of the five-match T20 series will be played at the same venue on Wednesday.

European football open disciplinary proceedings against England FA
UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against England's Football Association for the behaviour of fans during the European Championship final last month.
The final, won by Italy in a penalty shootout, was marred by clashes between supporters and officials in and around Wembley Stadium, with several ticketless fans breaching security cordons.
UEFA opened a disciplinary investigation two days after the final and the FA was hit with four charges for invasion of the field of play by supporters, throwing of objects, disturbance caused during the national anthem and the lighting of fireworks.
The FA was also fined 30,000 euros for crowd problems after a laser pointer was shone at Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel during England's semi-final win, also at Wembley.
"Following an investigation conducted by a UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector... disciplinary proceedings have been opened against the English Football Association for a potential violation of Article 16(2)(h) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations for a lack of order or discipline by its supporters," UEFA said in a statement.
