Australia's summer of cricket has been unveiled, with the Black Caps to head across the Tasman in late January, after the Ashes.
The first Chappell-Hadlee one-dayer is in Perth on January 30, with the second ODI in Tasmania on February 2 and the potential series decider three days later in Sydney.
The Black Caps will also play Australia in a Twenty20 international in Canberra on February 8 with an eye to the T20 World Cup in Australia, which is scheduled to begin in October next year.
New Zealand have replaced South Africa in the ICC men's international tour program.
The Proteas were originally slated to play white ball matches in Australia next summer, however due to the significant disruption to the cricket calendar caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, South Africa's home summer has been extended and thus ruled out the possibility of an Australian tour at this time.
It also comes after Australia pulled out of this year's tour of the Republic at the 11th hour, angering Cricket South Africa.
Australia beat the Black Caps by 71 runs in the last Chappell-Hadlee Trophy match in Sydney in March last year.
The remaining two ODIs of the three match series were called off as a result of the pandemic.
