The Canterbury Magicians have handed the defending champion Wellington Blaze just their second defeat of the women's Twenty20 cricket competition.

White Ferns vice-captain Amy Satterthwaite has guided the Magicians to a nine wicket win over the Blaze in their round-robin match at the Basin Reserve in Wellington.
Satterthwaite has struck an unbeaten 71 from 50 deliveries as Canterbury have chased down the 133 required for victory with 10 balls to spare.
She shared in an unbroken 104-run partnership with Magicians opener Nat Cox, who scored 48.
Cox carried her bat throughout the innings after a mix-up led to Canterbury captain Frankie Mackay being run out for eight.
The Blaze bowling attack, featuring White Ferns Amelia Kerr, Leigh Kasperek, Jess Kerr and Maddy Green, were kept wicket-less.
Earlier Mackay and New Zealand pace spearhead Lea Tahuhu helped restrict Wellington to their 132 for nine after sending them into bat.
They took two wickets each and conceded just 47 runs from their eight overs.
Tahuhu claimed the key wicket of White Ferns captain Sophie Devine for just 13.
It's Devine's first defeat since rejoining the Blaze, who remain top of the table with two rounds remaining.
The Magicians are now just two points behind them and have joined the defending champions in securing a place in the finals.
