The 26-year-old forward announced the deal on Twitter.

"This is my home, this is my city," the four time All-Star posted. "I'm blessed to be able to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let's make these years count. The show goes on, let's get it."

The deal ends months of speculation about Antetokounmpo's future. Most of the talk centered around whether Antetokounmpo would opt to enter free agency following hints in the offseason that he wanted to be paired with another superstar.

With an average annual value of $64 million, it is the largest contract in NBA history.

Antetokounmpo won Defensive Player of the Year honors along with his second straight MVP award in 2019-20.

No medical details were given. A family statement said the 78-year-old was admitted recently and his condition was a private matter.

Williams and his daughter Claire no longer have any involvement with the British-based team after it was sold to U.S.-based Dorilton Capital in August.

The former principal has been in a wheelchair since he was paralysed in a car crash in France in 1986. He spent some time in hospital with pneumonia in 2016.

Under his leadership Williams won nine constructors' championships and seven drivers' titles, most recently with Canadian Jacques Villeneuve in 1997.

The team have struggled of late. They have not won a race since 2012 and failed to score a point this year, finishing last.

Coll beaten in Cairo

New Zealand squash player Paul Coll has been beaten in the second round of the Black Ball Open in Cairo.

Coll, the world number four, was beaten 3-2 by local Mostafa Asal.

Alonso fastest of young drivers

Double world champion Fernando Alonso lapped fastest in a controversial appearance for Renault in Formula One's post-season 'young driver' test at Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina circuit.

The 39 year old Spaniard, winner of 32 grands prix, is not a young driver by any stretch of the imagination but has not raced in F1 for two years and was given special dispensation ahead of a comeback next year.

He completed 105 laps, nearly two race distances, with a best time of one minute 36.333 seconds.

Some other teams had questioned the fairness of allowing him to test, with Ferrari unable to run new Spanish signing Carlos Sainz. No active F1 drivers were allowed to take part.

Mercedes had Formula E drivers Nyck de Vries and Stoffel Vandoorne and they were second and third respectively. Ferrari ran Russian Robert Shwartzman and Italian Antonio Fuoco, a factory simulator driver.

Formula Two champion Mick Schumacher and runner-up Callum Ilott tested for Haas and Alfa Romeo.

Windies confirm tour of Bangladesh

The West Indies have agreed "in principle" to a shortened tour of Bangladesh in January and February.

The two sides will play three one-day internationals and two tests, one Test less than orginally planned and there will be no T20 series.

The approval was made after recommendations from Cricket West Indies' medical advisory committee, who inspected the Covid-19 protocols in place at two venues -- Dhaka and Chittagong.

The West Indies have just completed their tour of New Zealand and are one of the most travelled cricket teams this year.

Cameron Green will debut of he's fit

All-rounder Cameron Green will make his test debut against India in the first game of the series in Adelaide if he comes through concussion protocols, Australia coach Justin Langer said.

The 21-year-old was struck on the head when bowling to Jasprit Bumrah last week in an Australia 'A' game and replaced under the sport's concussion rules.

Green is expected to train with the Australia squad over the next two days and undergo testing for any lingering concussion symptoms ahead of the day-night match, which begins on Thursday.

"If he's passed fit he'll definitely play," Langer said. "We're just going through the concussion protocols.

The hosts will also anxiously wait on the fitness of batting mainstay Steve Smith who missed Tuesday's training with lower-back soreness, according to a report on a Cricket Australia website.

An Australian team spokesman said Smith was not in risk of missing the opening test and was expected to attend practice on Wednesday, the report added.

The 2021 schedule will also see the return of 18 tournaments which were either cancelled or postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Three of the Rolex Series events -- the season-opening Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship (Jan. 21-24), the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open (July 8-11) and the BMW PGA Championship (Sept. 9-12) -- will have a prize fund of $11 million, an increase of $1.4 million from previous editions.

The fourth and final Rolex series event, the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai (Nov. 18-21), will have its prize money boosted by $1.4 million to $13 million.

European Tour chief executive Keith Pelley said the remodelled Rolex Series events will begin the formation of a global circuit as part of their partnership with the U.S. PGA Tour.

The four events are now better positioned to attract dual-Tour members who will be able to earn Race to Dubai points, as well as Ryder Cup qualification points.

Rally CEO Glenn Olsson said that due to the increasing number of positive cases in the country, the tighter restrictions made it impossible to host the race in Varmland due to the safety protocols.

Sweden has recorded over 320,000 confirmed cases with over 7,600 deaths.

Rally Sweden was the only pure winter rally on the calendar and the WRC said it is in negotiations along with the FIA to stage an alternative event.

The 2021 season is set to begin in Monte Carlo on Jan. 21.
