The chief executive of Canterbury Netball and the Tactix franchise, Anthony Dawson, has resigned.
Dawson's facing charges in relation to a fire earlier this year in a central city restaurant where he is a part-owner and says he has to focus on resolving the legal issues arising from the fire.
He only assumed the role in September last year.
