As expected Matt Giteau's been named at first five eighths and Berrick Barnes at second five in the Wallabies side to take on the All Blacks in Melbourne on Saturday.
Giteau and Barnes will combine in the Australian backline for the first time this year, Giteau moving in one backline position after starting from No.12 in his previous four Tests this year, while Barnes gains his second start of the season.
The pair are reunited for this weekend's Bledisloe Cup opener after suspension to the sidelined New Zealand-born No.10 Quade Cooper.
Giteau's played 39 of his 82 Tests at first five. Only Stephen Larkham, with 87 caps, and Michael Lynagh with 64 have appeared mores times at No.10 for Australia.
Barnes' inclusion is one of two alterations to the run-on XV from that which started against South Africa in Brisbane last weekend.
The other sees the experienced Brumbies hooker Stephen Moore take over from Saia Faingaa, who joins his twin brother Anthony in the reserves.
If the Faingaas take the field together, they'll become the 40th set of brothers to have appeared for Australia in Test matches.
Flanker Matt Hodgson returns on the bench in place of Ben McCalman.
