The Tall Blacks coach Nenad Vucinic rates NBA player Sean Marks prospects of playing at next month's world basketball champs in Turkey at only 10 percent.
Vucinic and his 12-strong squad have just left for Europe to prepare for the tournament.
The side includes veterans Pero Cameron, who's recovered from injury just in time, Kirk Penney and Phil Jones.
However Vucinic says one player may have to make way for Marks should he recover in time from shoulder surgery.
