The number one seed Rafael Nadal has advanced to his fourth Wimbledon tennis final after defeating local hope Andy Murray 6-4 7-6 (8-6) 6-4 in the semi-finals.
The scoreline was not an accurate reflection of the evenness of the match as there were times in the third set when Murray had won more points in the match than Nadal despite being two sets down.
The Spaniard will meet 12th-seeded Tomas Berdych in Monday's final after the Czech upset Serbia's Novak Djokovic in straight sets earlier on Saturday.
It will be Berdych' first ever Wimbledon and Grand Slam final's appearance after the 12th seed followed up his victory over Roger Federer, by seeing off the world number three Djokovic 6-3 7-6 6-3.
